A listener writes in with something a lot of people quietly wonder about: adopted at birth and now in their 30s, they were suddenly contacted by a biological brother, and then a biological father they've never met, and they don't even know what to say. Bobby's advice is simple and grounded: go into it with no expectations at all, because you don't know who they are or why they're reaching out, could be love, could be curiosity, could be they need something, and that way nothing can let you down. He also makes a practical point, that reconnecting can unlock real answers about your own medical history, and that even if nothing comes of it, it's worth doing so you don't regret not doing it later.
