A band called the Autumn Kings was grinding it out on tour when their van broke down, leaving them stranded with a two-day repair and a show 500 miles away. They posted about it, and a stranger named Ernie simply showed up and handed them his own vehicle for several days so they could make their shows. He didn't know them and wasn't even a fan. When the band later asked why he did it, he said he just saw three strangers who needed help, and added that he'd never met a real band before.
